Usha, Keerthika, and Devi Prya
Thank goodness, it wasn't too late when I realized that what these children need the most is not an English teacher, but the warmth and love of a mother. That, I know how to do. Their love is unconditional. And so is mine.
Glad you are staying! And I can't wait to take you out for a cheeseburger. You look like you could use one! I got your letter about 5 days ago! Pith helmet man comes through! A letter is on it's way to you from ZigZag. . .
ReplyDeleteRachel! Zig Zag seems like a mirage and a beautiful dream at the moment! I had forgotten my ties to that place. I hope you enjoyed your little vacation. I can't wait to get your letter! I'm glad to know the little man in the Pith Helmet and old bicycle did not fall into the ditch somewhere between here and a PO. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are good at mothering and you have four wonderful kids to prove it!!!! diane
ReplyDeleteThey are why you stayed and why you came, along with the many other children and Indian adults. Never doubt...your legacy will live on...sniff.
